The dictionary defines an artist as " a person who produces works in any of the arts that are primarily subject to aesthetic criteria." So there you have it! I immediately fell in love with this image. It is both serene and intense; simple and incredibly complicated. The peaceful waves perfectly reflect the colour and detail of the multi-coloured leaves, greatly adding to the image's complexity. I would say that the colour scheme and strong texture of this image are it's best facets, however there is always room for improvement. It is important to remember that no reflection is perfect, and this is something that is needed to fully reinforce the feeling of realism throughout this piece. The colour and composition are simply breath-taking, however, rendering this image to be an exquisite example of design, message and technique.
Very well done!
